Well here we are 2013... its been awhile since my last post, in fact to be honest i forgot i had this blog. Anyways A lot has been going on over the last few years. Jeff quit his job at FIS to be self employed with the hull cleaning business. I was working as a caregiver for my Uncle until he passed away this march ( more on that later) Business was good but payment didn't always come on time so Jeff took up a second job at Walmart for the winter months..... then uncle Joe passed and i was out of work so he picked up more hours. Brandon completed 8th grade and has moved onto high school he will be a freshman next year! and Rachel has decided to graduate early and is taking online classes at home over the summer so she can do just that. She will graduate Dec 2013! I have also decided to return to school. This fall i will be attending SPC to start my associates in veterinary technology. Lets see what else... we took in another dog so now we have 4! two German shepherds and the 2 chihuahuas. Some days it feels like a zoo over here.  Dacoda moved in with us and then moved out again . The hull cleaning business is rockin' Jeff has so many boats now we had to hire a friend to help him out. He works full time at Walmart and then does the boats on his days off.... we don't get to see him much but when ever i can i go to the boats with him and sunbathe while he works Supervising him of course! its a tough job but someone has to do it. I wish the money would come in on a more timely schedule so he could just work the one job but i cant complain because the bills are paid and we have a great life ... Brandon has even started to learn how to clean the boats so maybe one day it will be passed down to him!

may 2010

Its that time again update time!!! I have been working the past month as a caregiver for a lady in Tarpon Springs. I like it a lot i only work a few hours a day but its mon thru friday. I feel more like its going to a friends house than going to work. Jeff is trying to get the hull cleaning business off the ground, he got his 1st "real" customer last week and hopefully more will follow! The kids are getting ready for school to end.... Brandon has a week full of activities planned with the school for the 5th grade festivities...... Dacoda wants to move back to Florida and join the national guard down here still waiting to see what happens with that. We are considering a possible move again this time to a house in Holiday. A good friend of Jeffs' dad passed away recently and they want us to rent the house. We are tossing the idea around but the kids arent too happy with that! Not sure whats going to happen there depends on the amount and whatnot but im sure theres an update to be had on that soon! thats really about al thats going on here just another day in the Frist house.

2010 update

Well as we close on 2009 and begin 2010 a few changes are being made in the Frist household. One being in Feb. i quit my job due to lack of promise keeping on their end and the rising cost of fuel etc was making it unprofitable for me to continue to travel to Largo everyday. I went to my supervisor and made my request (which seeing as how it was promised to me 4 months earlier i didnt see as a wrong thing to do) for more money and was politely told it wasnt going to happen anytime soon.... long story short Jeff and i talked about it and i gave my notice to them. So now i am once again looking for work, not sure what i want to do but i have faith that the right job is out there! The second change going on is Jeff has decided to return to school for his Bachelors degree in criminal justice w/an emphasis on cyber security.He will begin taking online classes with ITT tech March 15th (5 days after his 41st bday!! ) im so proud of him!!!

Both Rachel and Brandon are doing well in school. Rachel has made honor roll ever report card this year and right now is currently working on making deans list shes just 2 a's away!!! Brandon is as active as ever he has tutoring 2 days a week for math and science not that he needs it i think he just likes to stay after school with his buddies and get candy! but whatever the reason he is doing well in both subjects so i guess its working! I have been keeping busy at my parents house helping my dad with his renovations of the house.

Possible Career Change

OK as some of you already may know i have been working for Rose Radiology in Palm Harbor for a little over a year now, well this past October we opened our 10Th facility located in Largo, FL!! Business is good i guess you can say! Well last week they asked if i would go down for 2 days to "help" get the girls they hired all up to speed. My Supervisor and her Supervisor both have said many times that i am an excellent trainer and so i was chosen to go. I wasn't really expecting much, the drive is quite long for me as i live in Pasco County but i said OK! The Facility is BEAUTIFUL everything is brand new!!!! anyways, 2 days turned into all week and Friday they asked if I wanted to stay permanently! There will be a raise involved of course to make the long drive worth it but the most surprising part is the director of that center wants to make me the front desk supervisor!!!!! This is HUGE! I have never thought of myself as supervisor material always just wanted to go in do my time and leave but i must admit i am excited about this potential change in job descriptions. I know there will be much more involved with the everyday than what i do now but i think I'm finally at a point in my life where I'm ready to take on this challenge. The director has even said i can custom pick my schedule so i can avoid the majority of traffic coming and going!!! And the best part is NO MORE WORKING NIGHTS and NO WEEKENDS!! two things if i stayed in Palm Harbor i would be doing for sure! Lots less stress to deal with, other than the drive i don't see any negatives to this adventure. I will be sure to keep you all posted. Until then..... Peace out!

Family Fun Day

Last Saturday we took the kids to Heritage Village in Largo. My parents, Jeff and I Rachel, Brandon and Josh ( Brandons best friend) all headed down to have a picnic in the park then spent the day looking at the old houses it was a lot of fun. The weather was perfect! We even got to take the tour of the seven gables house and actually go upstairs! Brandon and Josh had a blast! Mom and dad took Jeffs convertible down mom seems to love that car and we followed in her car the boys had the wind blowing thru their hair, we couldnt have asked for a better weekend it was so nice to be all together as a family and do something fun together! Can't wait until the next gathering.
