W0w! Can you believe another month has come and gone? Where does the time go. Well I'm going to try and give monthly updates on here to keep us all posted on the on goings for the Frist family so here is the latest: we recently moved out of the house on Bayshore Dr and into Park place apartments in Pasco county. We did this because Jeff took a second job working for the complex as the community security officer after hours when the staff leaves but in order to do this you had to live on site. Its a smaller place than we had but we made it work for us. Rachel has her own bedroom and Brandon shares with Jeff and I but the room is plenty big enough so no one gets in anyones way. You may notice i didn't mention Dacoda, that's because he recently moved back to North Carolina with his mom, More on that later.
The children are settling quite nicely in their new schools and i even think Rachel likes her classes more than she will admit to us. Brandon is in the 5th grade and Rachel is in 8th grade! She has taken Spanish this year which will help her tremendously when she goes to get a job down the road as many of you know Spanish is very popular in Florida...... This leads me to dacoda he was supposed to start his senior year but due to his lack of study habits and poor GPA the school told him he would not be able to graduate this year and that seemed to have set off a downward spiral of emotions with him he decided it was in his best interest to move back home with his mom so Jeff and i let him go, he said it had nothing to do with any of that but we both know its because we were trying to "control" him with parenting rules and restrictions to what he can and can not do so back he went and we wish him well!! Last i heard he was dropping out of school officially and getting his GED then who knows what he will do.
Recently Jeff had a few visits to the Dr for an on going back issue that on July 1 decided to rear its ugly head again and render him almost unable to walk for a few days, we took hiom to the ER and they did xrays and found out he has spina bifida occulta /spyndiolisis anyways he was home for a week then went to the regular dr who recommended he go to a back specialist who in turn basically said the type of work Jeff does puts UN needed pressure on his spine and he needs to strengthen his back muscles and watch what he does to prevent further injury. He is ok now but that was a scary few days for us all...... the on Aug 31 Brandon was admitted to Mease Countryside hospital with what we later found out was walking pneumonia (mycoplasma )and stomach flu he had it so bad he was dehydrated to the point where he literally looked like he was dying, i took him in for what i thought was just a nagging cough and a cold that wouldn't go away, boy am i glad i took him in! The hospital hooked him up on iv fluids overnight and he immediately started to look better he had more things poked and prodded but he was a sport. I think he liked the fact that he could call room service whenever he wanted because once they gave him the all clear to eat again he was on that phone ordering food!!! He is now doing better and went back to school Friday.
Lets hope we never have to do that again!!

Glad to hear that everyone is healthy again and recovered! Your Chalupa is quite cute! Enjoy him!
Wow, you have had an eventful summer. My prayers to Jeff, I personally know how back issues can mess you up :-(
The pup is precious...love that little face. Looks like the Chihuahua is dominant in him.
Good luck in your new home and schools!
